The Buddy Show

The Clay County Ambassadors are very excited to have the opportunity to bring the Buddy Show to this year's Clay County Fair. 

The Buddy Show is an event that was created to integrate people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (Buddies) with 4-H members to give them an opportunity that they otherwise would not receive. During this event, a 4-H member is paired up with a buddy to exhibit a pig, sheep or goat! This program also allows the next generation of livestock producers to give back to their communities while giving an opportunity to the Buddies. 

The Clay County Buddy Show will be held on Saturday, August 10 at 1:30 pm in the covered livestock arena on the fairgrounds. An event like this requires many hands to provide a great experience for participants. 

If you would like to be involved as a volunteer, mentor or buddy please return the registration form below to the office by July 18.
